Ensuring rail safety and efficiency with OriginTrail DKG & GS1 standards

In complex networks, such as railways, exchanging relevant data and information is crucial for ensuring safety and efficiency of the network. But due to the numerous stakeholders involved and the complexity of the network, this if often extremely difficult.

Learn how GS1 standards and the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) can help with exchange of relevant information on time to avoid grave consequences, such as loosing assets or even lives in rail accidents.

About the course

In this short online course, you will learn how GS1 standards paired with the OriginTrail Decentralized Knowledge Graph (DKG) can solve some critical issues that the rail industry (and other similar industries) is facing to ensure safety and security of the infrastructure, the freight, and the passengers.

Such as:
  • Why exchanging data in complex networks such as the European rail system is crucial, but also difficult?
  • How can GS1 standards and the OriginTrail DKG enable the exchange of data from different data systems in an efficient way?
  • How to controll access to data and protect private data?
  • How to keep updated on changes to data relevant to us?
  • How do we successfully solve these issues across multiple networks?
